Chronixx – ‘Chronology’

Regarded by some as this generation’s Bob Marley, Kingston-born Chronixx put out his debut album at the top of July.

Chronology, a joyous body of reggae, is also a distinguished display of the budding star’s ability for potential pop/R&B crossover. The project opens with an ode to Chronixx’s birthplace, “Spanish Town Rockin,” and goes on to venture into his Rastafarian livelihood, love and upliftment.

Rika’s Chronology picks: “Skankin’ Sweet,” “Selassie Children,” “Majesty,” “Likes,” “I Can” and “Black Is Beautiful.”
